A half day fully immersive and hands on pottery experience with me in my beautiful garden studio in the Essex countryside. During the session you will have full use of my studio, including exclusive use of 2 pottery wheels.

We will start the session with refreshments for you to enjoy while I give a short demonstration on the wheel. You will learn how the wedge clay, centre it on the wheel, and make a simple vessel. I will then encourage you to let your creativity flow, the joy in throwing is as much in the process as it is in the outcome.

At the end of the session, you can choose your favourite 3 pieces which I will trim, bisque fire, glaze and glaze fire, in a colour of your choice. These will be ready to collect around 4 weeks later or can be posted (additional cost charged on the day).

The session runs for 2 ½ hours, bookable at a time that suits you, either starting at 10am or 2pm. Sessions at the weekend are more limited and are booked on a first come, first served basis.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS,

I currently run workshops for those aged 14 or older. Adults must accompany children and may observe the class at no additional cost.

The workshop booking is valid for 1 year from the purchase date – please book your workshop within this period, but the experience date can fall outside of this period.

If no contact has been made within a year of purchasing, the booking will be invalid, and no refunds will the available.

CANCELLATION

Participants can re-arrange the workshop up to 2 weeks before the workshop date.

If less than 2 weeks’ notice is given, there will be a £10 administration fee to rebook.

All rearranged bookings must be taken within 6 months of the original workshop date. You can only rearrange once.

If a participant cancels less than 24hrs before a workshop, the workshop will have to be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.

If I need to cancel the workshop at short notice for reasons beyond my control (such as illness or mechanical breakdowns), I will try and rearrange a mutually convenient alternative date or provide the option of a full refund.
